Privacy & Data

Your data is yours.
Full stop.

LuminoIQ is built on a simple principle: we don't store your operational data, we don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone.

✓ No patient data stored ✓ No data sold or shared ✓ No advertising Effective January 1, 2026
🔒
Your data stays in your browser
Operational data you upload is processed locally in your session. It is never sent to or stored on LuminoIQ servers.
No patient data — by design
LuminoIQ is built for aggregated operational metrics only. We actively detect and block files containing individual patient records.
🚫
Never sold or shared
Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or any commercial purpose.
👁
No hidden tracking
No advertising pixels, no behavioral tracking, no data broker relationships. What you see is what we do.
Q
Is LuminoIQ HIPAA compliant?
LuminoIQ is an operations analytics platform — it does not store, process, or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI). The platform is designed exclusively for aggregated operational metrics: census counts, staffing ratios, revenue per bed, and star ratings.

Because no PHI flows through the platform, a Business Associate Agreement is not required for standard use. For enterprise customers who require a BAA as part of their compliance framework, we can accommodate that as part of an enterprise agreement.
Q
Where does my facility data go when I upload it?
It stays in your browser session and goes nowhere else. Data you upload is parsed and processed entirely on your device — it is never transmitted to LuminoIQ servers, never stored in a database, and is permanently gone when you close the tab.

This is a deliberate design choice. There is no server-side copy of your operational data that could ever be accessed, breached, or shared.
Q
When I use the AI chat, what does it see?
The AI sees only the aggregated operational metrics from your current session — figures like occupancy rates, staffing ratios, and revenue per bed. It sees the same numbers you see on your dashboard.

Individual patient names, medical record numbers, dates of birth, diagnoses, and any other patient-identifying information are never included in AI queries.
Q
Can other LuminoIQ customers see my data?
No. There is no shared database and no cross-customer data access. Each session is completely isolated. If we ever introduce opt-in anonymous benchmarking in the future, participation will be entirely voluntary and clearly disclosed in advance.
Q
What happens if I accidentally upload a file with patient data?
LuminoIQ scans uploaded file headers for known patient data patterns before processing begins. If anything is detected, the upload pauses and you see a clear warning identifying the flagged columns. You can cancel and clean your file, or confirm the data is not PHI before proceeding. Either way, the data never leaves your device.
Q
What personal information does LuminoIQ collect about me?
Very little. If you submit a demo request or join our waitlist, we collect your email address to follow up with you — nothing more. We do not use tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or behavioral analytics.
